Jay-Z Set To Change His Name To ‘Shawn Knowles-Carter’

Beyonce and Jay Z are so crazy in love, they’ve decided to change their names to pay tribute to each other’s family names.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, will now be known as Shawn Knowles-Carter, while Beyonce is to become Beyonce Knowles-Carter.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves.”

While Bey and Jay may be crazy in love, Beyonce’s mother and father Tina and Mathew Knowles are as far from being in love as it gets. The couple, who were married for 29 years, have officially called it quits and filed for divorce.

Beyonce’s mother filed for divorce from her father just one month after he was slapped with a paternity suit by Alexandra Wright, who claims Mathew is the father of her unborn child. That’s real classy Mr. Knowles.

Maybe Jay can teach Mathew a thing or two about having some class. We just love Mr. and Mrs. Knowles-Carter together!
