All hail Hov. Jay Z leads the nominations for the 56th AnnualGrammy Awards.

The Roc Nation mogul was nominated nine times this year incategories including Best Rap Album for Magna Carta…Holy Grail and Best Rap Song for “Holy Grail.”

Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis follow with seven, while Drake and Daft Punk score five nods. Bruno Mars, Lorde, and Taylor Swift pick up four apiece.

“Very surreal moment. It’s like we’re not supposed to be here, but we’re here,” said Macklemore, who was nominated in the coveted Album of the Year and Song of the Yearcategories.

Robin Thicke was humbled by his three nominations includingRecord of the Year for “Blurred Lines.”

“What an incredible honor, thank you to the Grammy committee for the nomination,” he tweeted. “This is the icing on the cake for this year.”

The nominations were announced during “The GRAMMY NominationsConcert Live!!” special at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on Friday.

The awards will be handed out during the live ceremony on Sunday, January 26, at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
