Janet Jackson is coming to a city near you. The iconic entertainer has announced dates for the North American leg of her intimate “Janet Jackson: Number Ones, Up Close and Personal Tour,” where she will perform some of her 35 number one hits in 35 cities across the world.

Miss Jackson kicks things off at Chicago’s The Chicago Theatre on March 7 and 8, making her way to Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, NYC’s Radio City Music Hall, Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, and Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheatre. The trek wraps its stateside leg on April 22 and 23 at The Colosseum in Las Vegas.

“These concerts will be different from anything I have ever done,” explained an excited Janet. “I will be as up close and personal as possible. These concerts are not about special effects. This is a love affair between me and those of you who have supported me and my work for all these years. I’ll be singing and dancing from my heart. The music will all be songs that you’ve made number ones for me. Let’s go!”

Before she heads West, the pop superstar will launch her largest-ever world tour in Manila on February 4, traveling to Singapore three days later, Hong Kong on Valentine’s Day, and touching down in Taipei on February 19.
