Janet Jackson is ready to launch her comeback. The pop icon has announced dates for her first international tour in four years.
The first leg of the 36-date “Unbreakable World Tour” kicks off Aug. 31 in Vancouver and travels to Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco, and more. Additional worldwide concerts will be announced at a later date.
The tour comes in support of Janet’s first album in seven years, due this fall on Rhythm Nation Records/BMG. She has been teasing the project using the hashtag #ConversationsInACafe. A single, rumored to be titled “No Sleep,” is supposed to drop by the end of June.
Tickets for the first North American dates go on sale starting June 22 at JanetJackson.com. American Express Card members can purchase pre-sale tickets for select shows starting June 15 at 10:00 a.m. through June 19 at 10:00 p.m.
Janet has shared footage of dancers auditioning for the highly-anticipated tour.
