During a recent interview, Game discussed the odds of him and his former label boss 50 Cent mending their relationship and working together again. According to the Compton-bred rapper, while the two haven’t talked recently “if the stars ever aligned” he would be open to them linking back up.
“I think that in life anything can be mended. Right now, I haven’t talked to 50. I don’t talk to him but I’m not saying that that can’t happen in the future or that it will or won’t,” said Game.
“But I think he’s fine doing him and I’m fine doing me. And if the stars ever aligned and if that day comes where we can have a conversation and then chop it up and we can come to some type of happy medium, you know, I’m with it. But as of now, I guess he’s doing him and I’m doing me.”
In related news, while talking to Jenny Boom Boom earlier this month, Game reminisced over G-Unit’s dominance in the game, and said that everyone on the label suffered when they broke up.
“I think when we were the mighty mighty G-Unit, we are strong and like the modern day N.W.A. and I think everybody suffered from the break. First and foremost, Yayo and Banks, and then Buck, and then myself and 50.”
Game is currently prepping for the release of his fourth studio LP, The R.E.D. Album. The project, which has been heavily delayed, is expected to be released on August 24th. Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Jadakiss, Robin Thicke, T.I., and others are expected to be featured on the album.
