Angela Yee asked Floyd Mayweather about the spectators who would have preferred to have seen an “exciting fight” between himself and Guerrero.

Floyd doesn’t think much of this response because he knows that everyone has an opinion and that the expectations for him are high.

“I feel like people expect so much from me that the expectation for Floyd Mayweather are so high.

“I just gave you an exciting fight with Miguel Cotto, a toe-to-toe battle [of] blood, sweat and tears [spectators are] like, Floyd Mayweather is losing it. And then when I got out there and dominate and blow a guy out, they say ‘well, it wasn’t exciting because he didn’t land any punches.’ I’m not in the sport of taking no abuse. It’s nothing cool about taking abuse.”
