Everyone deserves a good meal at Christmas. Brandy helped make it a merry Christmas for the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission on Christmas Eve. The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, who will announce a new record deal in the new year, put on a red apron and served mashed potatoes alongside “The Hills” star Stephanie Pratt and host Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Her daughter Sy’rai had quite a lofty wish list for Christmas this year after finding out the truth about Santa Claus.

“I got her list, and it is ridiculous. When she believed in Santa, she had a smaller list. But now that she knows I’m Santa Claus, she went crazy,” said Brandy. “Now, she wants a BlackBerry and an iPhone 4. It’s like, ‘Little girl, you are eight, and you’re asking for a BlackBerry?’”
