Drake will help the city of Cleveland, Ohio, mark its 215th birthday with a special performance. The Young Money rapper will headline the city’s celebration concert, along with a reunited Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Ohio Homecoming has tapped Drizzy to perform as part of a four-day celebration from July 20-24. The festivities are expected to draw over 10,000 fans to the city’s downtown mall.
“I am honored to share this moment with the city of Cleveland,” stated Drake. “I will do all I can to show my appreciation for a place that has always faithfully supported my music since day one.”
The Ohio Homecoming Concert will also feature a performance from hip-hop veterans Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, who have not performed in over two years and will reunite to pay homage to their city.
“Although I recently announced that I was parting ways with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, this year’s Cleveland Ohio homecoming is a great opportunity for us to reunite, represent, and give back to our hometown,” said Krayzie Bone.
Local artists including DJ E-V, Stalley, and Ray Cash are also on the bill. Tickets are available for purchase online.
