Classic. Timeless. Iconic. DJ Khaled and Nas take fans to the Bahamas in the vibrant video for “Nas Album Done.”
Co-directed by Khaled and Eif Rivera, the cinematic short is a nod to Hype Williams’ 1998 film Belly, which also starred Nas. Like Belly, “Nas Album Done” also features Louie Rankin as Ox, “the original bloodclot Jamaican don dada.”
Nearly nine minutes in length, the mini-movie finds Nas donning colorful beach attire and rapping alongside Carnival dancers, while a cigar-smoking Khaled rides a horse through the ocean and sprays champagne poolside.
He also takes some time to spit wisdom with Ox.
“We have to inspire them,” says Khaled. “We unify, and we give them the keys to more wins, more success, and more blessings. Ox, when we come together, love is the most powerful ting in the world.”
“Nas Album Done” can be found on Major Key, which became Khaled’s first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
