DJ Khaled is suffering from an album pushback. The We the Best boss has delayed the release of Suffering From Success by a month.
The album was originally due September 24, but has since been moved to October 22. Instead of competing with Drake’s Nothing Was the Same, he will now drop the same day as Katy Perry’s Prism.
“I want everybody to know, my album Suffering From Success is coming out now on October 22,”
announced Khaled in a video.
He needed more time to perfect his craft.
“I moved the date back because it got greater,” he continued. “I told ya’ll I’m working on the biggest masterpiece ever. I just recorded something that’s so crazy, that’s gon’ have the whole streets erupt earthquake style. Shit got even realer. This shit’s serious.”
The follow-up to 2012′s Kiss the Ring has produced two singles including “No New Friends” and “I Wanna Be With You” featuring Nicki Minaj, Future, and Rick Ross.
