Sean “Diddy” Combs has another reason to break out the Ciroc. The Bad Boy mogul tops the list of hip-hop’s top 20 earners on Forbes Cash Kings 2013 list.

Diddy pulled in $50 million over the past 12 months thanks to his Bad Boy record label, Sean John clothing line, and Blue Flame marketing agency. But the bulk of his earnings comes from his deal with Diageo’s Ciroc vodka.

His fellow New Yorker Jay Z earned $43 million and claims the second spot on the list with his tour, Armand de Brignac champagne, D’Ussé cognac, and Roc Nation label and management firm. He also collected $5 million from Samsung, who purchased 1 million copies of his album Magna Carta… Holy Grail.

Last year’s top earner Dr. Dre falls to No. 3 with $40 million following his nine-figure payout for the 2011 sale of Beats by Dr. Dre.

Nicki Minaj is the only female on the list at No. 4 with $29 million, edging out her YMCMB brothers Birdman, Lil Wayne, and Drake.

Compton’s good kid Kendrick Lamar makes his debut at No. 14 with $9 million and ties with newcomers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, whose independently released debut The Heist has sold over 1 million copies in the U.S.
