Desiigner is saving the world…one panda at a time.
The World Wildlife Fund has announced that giant pandas are no longer endangered, and the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is partially to thank.
The WWF’s U.K. branch has acknowledged “Tiimmy Turner” for his “Panda” anthem, tweeting at him:
“Thanks for the shout out! It’s really great news #PandaHugs.”

Desiigner — who topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “Panda” this year — got in on this, celebrating the wildlife victory too.
“Saving PANDAs,” he tweeted.

However, pandas are still in trouble, according to WWF. While they are no longer deemed endangered, their status is now vulnerable and still at risk of extinction.
In other Desiigner news, the rapper has been working on a Zombiewalk short film for Halloween. Today, he shared a teaser for the animated and live action short, calling it the first video he’s directed.
