Chrisette Michele evokes old Hollywood glamour in the stunning video for “Charades” off her mixtape Audrey Hepburn, which she describes as an audio-visual presentation. The R&B songstress makes love to the camera and her man in the black-and-white clip, directed by Derek Blanks.
After releasing some material online, she had second thoughts about the project. “I was so nervous about all the feedback that I received, I almost pulled it. The whole fame thing makes me a little nervous,” tweeted Chrisette, who had a change of heart. “Well, I’ve decided 2 be brave and share what I was gonna share even tho it’s a little bit different… I’ve never worn my heart on my sleeve.”
Earlier this month, she debuted a version of the song with 2 Chainz and premiered “Rich Hipster” with Wale. Audrey Hepburn will be available as a free download on December 8.
