Chris Brown’s bodyguard has been found guilty of assault following a two-day trial.

On Monday, D.C. Superior Court Judge Patricia Wynn convicted Christopher Hollosy of a single count of misdemeanor assault. He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 25.

Brown’s trial has been delayed while prosecutors decide whether to grant immunity to Hollosy so that he could testify in Brown’s trial.

Both men were arrested in October after 20-year-old Parker Adams said Brown and Hollosy punched him outside the W Hotel after he allegedly tried to get on Brown’s tour bus.

Brown will receive probation in D.C. if found guilty. The verdict will also affect whether the singer will remain jailed in California, where he is on probation for beating Rihanna.

“I don’t think that there’s any doubt Chris Brown is not guilty,” Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos told reporters.

Geragos expects Brown’s trial to last no more than two days.
