With Cam’ron and Jim Jones back on speaking terms, Diplomats fans may be expecting a DipSet LP in the near future, but during an interview with NowWut.com, Cam said that nothing is set in stone quite yet. It looks like there will be a reunion, but not before he finishes with the current projects he has on his plate including four albums with his protege Vado.
“[Me and Jim] speak a few times a week,” said Cam. “Right now, we talking out the business. The deal is on the table. But until the business is situated, it’s [Cam’s group], the U.N.; me and Vado. We not about to stop. All the bosses meet at the roundtable. To be honest, we missed out on a lot of money on the Diplomats thing the first time. I’m not moving on nothing Diplomats until the business gets done. But, it’s close to getting done. Right now I don’t want to mislead nobody and say it’s not U.N. right now.”
Cam’ron is slated to release his seventh studio album, Killa Season 2, later this year, along with a film of the same title. He and Vado are also expected to put out a DJ Drama mixtape titled Boss Of All Bosses Pt. 2.5.
