Big Sean is doing it big. Fresh off his appearance on the G.O.O.D. Music single “Mercy,” the Detroit rapper is lining up more superstar collaborations with Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne.
During an interview with Power 106 (via L.A. Leakers), Sean announced that he and the Biebs have recorded together.
“We got something in the works,” he said. “You gon’ see it sooner or later—either my album, his album, we’ll see.”
The follow-up to Sean’s 2011 debut Finally Famous will feature production from Kanye West, No I.D., Salaam Remi, and possibly an appearance from Nicki Minaj.
“We got a couple things in the works, so we just gotta see how it comes out,” he said of reuniting with his “Dance (A$$)” co-star. “She’s the homie though. Shout out to her, YMCMB. They show so much love.”
In addition to Nicki, he’s also working with other members of the YMCMB family.
“We got some stuff with Wayne coming. I did some stuff for Wayne and DJ Khaled’s new albums. He got a smash on there,” revealed Sean, who recently shot a video with Tyga for “I’m Gone.”
If that wasn’t enough, the in-demand MC is also featured on his childhood pal Mike Posner’s upcoming single, “Top of the World,” produced by Diplo.
“It’s crazy. That record takes it back to when we was grindin’ when we was at his mama’s crib before any record deals was poppin’ off. It’s a feel-good record.”
Prior to the release of his sophomore album, Sean will drop his mixtape F.F.O.E. (Finally Famous Over Everything).
