It was a night to remember for Big Sean, who headlined his biggest show yet at The Palace of Auburn Hills in his hometown of Detroit on Saturday. The 24-year old G.O.O.D. Music MC was joined onstage by surprise guests J. Cole, Mike Posner, and his G.O.O.D. family including Kanye West, Common, Pusha T, and Teyana Taylor.
He performed “24 Karats of Gold” with Cole and brought out his crew for the encore of “Mercy” and “Clique.”
During the star-studded concert, Sean announced the launch of his non-profit organization, the Sean Anderson Foundation, whose mission is to promote the education, health, safety, and well-being of Detroit area school-aged youth.
“I had a truly awesome time performing in Detroit tonight. The whole city came out,” tweeted Sean, whose sophomore album Hall of Fame is due next spring.
