Who runs the BET Awards? Beyoncé took home the most trophies at Sunday’s show at Nokia Theatre in L.A.

The pop superstar won three awards including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration, and the Fandemonium Award, and also performed “Partition” with Jay Z in a pre-taped piece from the “On the Run Tour.”

Pharrell Williams continued his epic year, winning Video of the Year and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.

August Alsina shared the stage with Trey Songz and Chris Brown, and went home with two awards including Best New Artist and Viewers’ Choice.

“I represent the struggle,” said the New Orleans crooner. “So this award not for me, this for the people, and I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Nicki Minaj won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the fifth year in a row and shared the award for Best Group with her Young Money family.

“I thank God that I’ve been placed in a position to represent women in a culture that is so male driven,” she said while accepting her award.

Other winners included Drake for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Jhené Aiko, who won the Centric Award.
