Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford helped Lil Wayne sell a million copies of Tha Carter III by producing his chart-topping smash “A Milli,” but the royalty checks never came in. The hitmaker behind Beyoncé’s “Diva” and Ludacris’ “What’s Your Fantasy” speaks out about the pending lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money and his awkward encounter with Wayne.
“You see this man on the videos and that’s all he do, that’s what he do—money. His name in Birdman, Stunnaman. He have his kids in furs; they two [years old],” Bangladesh tells Rap-Up TV. “You got money to blow, you make songs like that. You do have money to blow ’cause it ain’t your money.”
While he may not have a relationship with Weezy, he does call Gucci Mane a friend. Bang talks about a new collaboration he produced for Gucci featuring Ciara. “It’s some ’hood shit, but it’s pop at the same time,” he says.
