Azealia Banks fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on her mixtape Fantasea. Yung Rapunxel took to Twitter to announce a new release date.
The free project, which was originally scheduled to arrive on July 4, will now drop one week later.
“#FANTASEA will now be dropping on 7/11 instead of 7/4,” she wrote.
Despite not wanting to be associated with the rap game, it will feature lots of rapping.
“It’s gonna be hip-hop, there’s a lot of hip-hop on it,” Banks told MTV News of Fantasea, which has already spawned the singles “Jumanji” and “Aquababe.”
She has collaborated with Styles P on “Nathan,” set to premiere June 30.
“It’s so New York and it’s so raw and it’s so just…everything that needs to be said,” she said of the record.
Banks can currently be heard on the N.A.R.S. remix to M.I.A.’s single “Bad Girls” and recently released the video for “Liquorice” off her 1991 EP.
