Azealia Banks is headed back to the 212. The Harlem rapper has been added to the star-studded lineup for Hot 97’s Summer Jam next month.
Banks will heat up the Festival Village stage before the big show on June 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. She will be joined by A$AP Rocky, Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Big K.R.I.T., and Fred the Godson.
The 20-year-old MC shared her excitement on Twitter.
“Omg still can’t believe I’m doing summer jam. That shit is so honorary #NEWYOOOOOORRRRRRRKK,” she wrote. “I grew up on @Hot97.”
The main stage will feature performances from Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, J. Cole, Big Sean, Waka Flocka Flame, 2 Chainz, Young Jeezy, Trey Songz, and more.
Banks, who is readying her 1991 EP and Interscope Records debut Broke With Expensive Taste, will also perform for her more fashionable fans at the Costume Institute gala on May 7. She will attend as a guest of designer Alexander Wang, who designed her dress.
