Don’t call it a comeback, he’s been a veteran in this game for over 20 years but out of complete thin air, Master P has returned to his true love of Hip Hop and released a mixtape, Al Capone, on January 16. About 60k fans and counting have downloaded it thus far, so the love and support is still there. No Limit Records has been the platform to what P. Miller wanted to accomplish in his life. His ten children are well taken care of by his act of being a hustler every day. Not only is he a well-established rapper, but a father, entrepreneur, investor, actor and producer. The 90s were the stomping ground for those southern rappers and they were some of the originators of timeless gangster rap that is still appreciated today. He has 13 albums under his belt and his new mixtape shows where his loyalty lies. He features Meek Mill, Kirko Bangz and almost every song featured Alley Boy. The video for “Friends with Benefits” featuring Kirko Bangz is currently in the making and preview of it can be found on his website.
His philanthropy is prominent in his New Orleans hometown. Miller provides help for the homeless, which shows the type of man he was raised to be. Combining his music and movies, Miller gives that picturesque view of what he has been through in his candid songs and classic movies. Al Capone is great way to come back on the scene. There are countless comments rating the tape as an amazing comeback. One fan said:
“These young cats hatin on P just don’t know. The industry went soft after Pac and Big got killed. P brought it back to the street. Real folk know the TRUth”
