Juice WRLD’s tragic death has sent shockwaves throughout the hip-hop community.
His friends and millions of fans took to social media to mourn the 21-year-old rapper, who reportedly died after suffering a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport on Sunday.
His “Nuketown” collaborator Ski Mask the Slump God was overcome with emotion.
“HE CANT BE GONE !” tweeted a stunned Ski Mask. “They Keep Taking My Brothers From Me Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhh…BRUH AT THIS FUCKING POINT TAKE ME TOO.”
A heartbroken Lil Yachty was also grappling with the loss. “Wow, I can not believe this. Rip my brother juice world,” he wrote alongside a series of teary-eyed emojis.
Drake posted a black-and-white photo of Juice WRLD and reflected on the young MC, whose life was taken too soon.
“I would like to see all the younger talent live longer and I hate waking up hearing another story filled with blessings was cut short,” he captioned it.
Chance the Rapper recalled a conversation he had with the “young legend.” “He knows our hearts. I really wish we had more talks like that one night in LA. Dude,” he wrote. “This is ridiculous. Millions of people, not just in Chicago but around the world are hurting because of this and don’t know what to make of it. Im sorry. Love you and God bless your soul. #legend.”
Others including Meek Mill, Alicia Keys, Fat Joe, LL Cool J, Wale, and Camila Cabello also paid tribute to the “Lucid Dreams” rapper.
