The “Fireworks” continue. A day after Independence Day, Lil Wayne lets freedom ring on his 4th of July-inspired EP In Tune We Trust.

The four tracks include his remix to Playboi Carti’s “Magnolia,” along with collaborations with Jeezy, Gudda Gudda, HoodyBaby, Jay Jones, and Euro, plus production from Mike WiLL Made-It, Rio, Kamo, and Kaliphat.

On “Magnolia,” Wayne continues his ongoing feud with Birdman and Cash Money while bigging up JAY-Z and Soulja Slim.

“Wait for Carter V to drop,” he raps. “It’s the Roc / I’m throwing up the Roc / I ain’t from Magnolia but Tunechi still a soldier / And rest in peace to Soulja, ’cause he was real Magnolia.”

Taking to Instagram, Wayne explained why he decided to drop this EP now.

“Im STILL trying to fight for my Independence but today Im saying Fuk it and giving all my fans some new music,” he wrote. “Thanks for being there and patiently waiting while I endure this.”
