Lil Boosie hit the West Coast this week for his first national television performance since being released from prison. The Baton Rouge rapper took the stage on “SKEE Live” to perform his hits including “Smoking on Purple” in front of a live audience at L.A. Live.
During his sit-down with DJ Skee, he reflected on his time in prison and how it’s changed his outlook on life.
“It just made me a better person,” he said, “and it made me understand, I can’t mess up and do stupid stuff, lil’ small mistakes, because they gon’ try to slam me to the cross.”
Boosie is gearing up to release his post-prison albumTouchdown 2 Cause Hell on July 15.
“SKEE Live” airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on AXS TV.
