André 3000 Set To Release Solo Album Early Next Year

Is André 3000 ready to return to music? The OutKast rapper has reportedly revealed that he has a solo album dropping at the top of 2014.

During Lil Wayne and T.I.’s “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” in Washington, D.C. on Friday, Three Stacks told BET executive Stephen Hill that he has a new album on the way.

Hill shared their conversation, tweeting,

“Me: hey what’s up? You got the movie coming,right? Andre 3000: yeah…and I got a solo album coming top of the year. Me:*droptofloor*”

André also stars in the upcoming Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side, which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

It’s been a decade since André released Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, his joint project with Big Boi.

He most recently dueted with Beyoncé on a remake of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” for The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
