Dawn Richard is ushering in the black era. Following her debut GoldenHeart, the former Dirty Money diva will release her sophomore album BlackHeart this fall.
The second album in her three-part trilogy will arrive on October 7.
“As I continue to make and create more magic for you. With that being said though. I have good news. Get ready. BlackHeart is coming,” she said. “10/7/13 !!!! #TheBlackEra”
She also announced that the video for “Riot”/”Northern Lights” off GoldenHeart will not be released.
“Dear hearts! Due to a change in team the riot/northern lights short film will not be coming out. I love you guys and hope you’ll be patient,” she said.
The trilogy began with her critically-acclaimed debut GoldenHeart in January and will commence with RedemptionHeart in 2014.
Last month, there were rumors that Danity Kane was getting back together after four members were seen having lunch in L.A.
“We’ll see. Everything is a we’ll see at this point,” Dawn told Pacific Rim Video when asked if a reunion is in the works. “The possibilities are endless now.”
