After missing his last two appearances, Lil Wayne finally sat down for an interview on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” The Young Money chief was a good sport, tackling questions about his seizures to his retirement to skating with laughs.
“I’m great,” said Tunechi, who missed his previous appearance in March due to his hospitalization for seizures.
Since the near-fatal incident, he’s taken measures to ensure his safety.
“I’ve taken those steps and a whole bunch of other steps to make sure that everything’s perfect,” said Wayne, whose “homies” have been prepped by the doctor in case of future emergencies.
During his hospitalization, his friend LeBron James reached out, but he doesn’t plan on attending any Heat games.
“They did tell me that I’m allowed back whenever I want, but I don’t think they want me there, so I won’t make it hard on either of us,” said the Lakers fan.
He still plans to retire after Tha Carter V.
“I want to retire after the Carter V, which I hope would be my last album.”
Once he hangs up the mic, he plans to spend “quality time” with his kids including his 14-year-old daughter Reginae.
But he still has other albums that he plans to release prior to Carter V including Like Father, Like Son 2 with Birdman.
Weezy also addressed his comments about sleeping with Chris Bosh’s wife (“I was too turnt up that night”) and his love for skating.
