The Game can’t seem to escape controversy. Just days after his fifth album Jesus Piece hit stores, the Compton MC is embroiled in another battle, this time with a Fox News reporter.
Political correspondent Michelle Malkin, who describes herself as a “conservative, mom, wife, and blogger,” lashed out at the rapper for his portrayal of Jesus on the cover of his album, calling it blasphemous.
Game is not taking the criticism lightly.
“#BOYCOTT @michellemalkin NOW ! She’s racist, & makin racial & blasphemist comments about my album. Same b!$&% said Obama isnt AMERICAN,” he tweeted. “We cannot allow racism to carry itself into the NEW YEAR !!!!! We cant !!!!!”
He also called for a boycott of Fox News.
“I was a big supporter of Fox News,” he told DJ Skee. “I grew up on ‘The Simpsons,’ they come on Fox 11, and now I’ma do everything that I can to try to shut them down because we can’t allow that.”
Following Game’s tweets, Malkin received angry responses and even death threats from his fans.
“Aw, what’s wrong — is your trashy album not selling?” she told Game. “Not afraid of you or your race-baiting misogynist gangstas.”
