Nelly Debuts The 2011 Ford Mustang

Well, we told you to look out for it. With the brand-new 2011 Ford Mustang GT set to drop this spring, we told you a rapper would latch onto the muscle car and feature it prominently in a music video. St. Louis rapper Nelly did us one better this week by announcing that he’ll feature the new ’Stang on the cover of his upcoming album, Let’s Get It (quick, raise your hand if you knew Nelly was dropping a new album… Bueller? Bueller?). DUB Magazine recently put together a customized GT for Nelly that features a shiny black exterior paint job, a Street Scenes body kit and Pirelli tires, as well as a custom JL Audio system. “I’m itching to get behind the wheel of my Mustang,” says Nelly. “This vehicle being a part of my album artwork is just a reflection of the direction and feel that the album has.” Let’s just hope it’s tougher than Brass Knuckles.
