The Young Money-Cash Money camp was in the building on Monday’s “106 & Park.” While the all-star players were absent, Birdman and Mack Maine introduced the rest of the family including Shanell, DJ Khaled, Jay Sean, Jae Millz, Chris Richardson, and Lil Chuckee.
“We wanted to be diverse with our music as a brand,” said Baby. “We do a lot of rap, but we also gonna do pop, rock, reggae. We want to do everything to be honest.”
DJ Khaled revealed that the video for “Take It to the Head” cost $1 million and announced that his album Kiss the Ring will arrive August 21.
Shanell premiered her video for “So Good” and announced that her new mixtape Nobody’s Bitch is due in a couple weeks, while Jay Sean debuted the video for his new single “I’m All Yours” featuring Pitbull.
They were also joined by Kendrick Lamar and Ace Hood for a performance of “B Boyz.” The Compton MC confirmed that he and J. Cole are working on a collaborative album and Ace Hood is now signed to YMCMB/We the Best.
