The death of pop icon Whitney Houston on Feb. 11 has brought heart ache to the world, but as many have speculated, no one has been more devastated by Houston’s death than her daughter, Bobbi Kristina. But Bobbi’s world may be in more turmoil than anyone expected, According to reports, Bobbi was rushed to a hospital over the weekend for an alleged mental breakdown.

TMZ first reported the news of Bobbi’s medical emergency, saying that Bobbi had been transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital for the second time since her mother’s death, early Sunday, Feb. 12. TMZ obtained photos of Bobbi being escorted out of the Beverly Hilton – the same hotel where her mother died – on a stretcher.

Law enforcement sources say that the police responded to an emergency call at the hotel, but wouldn’t confirm the identity of the person rushed to the hospital.

Sources for the gossip site say that Bobbi was distraught when she learned of her mother’s death and got into a yelling match with police officers when they wouldn’t allow her to her mother’s body in the hotel. Bobbi was allegedly taken to the hospital shortly after Houston’s death, but wasn’t transported by ambulance. Sources say Bobbi was “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable.

Us Weekly reported that Bobbi was being treated for stress.

“Her life will be shattered. Bobbi was always by [Whitney’s] side in everything she did,” said one source. Another source is claiming that Bobbi is having a “total breakdown…she is freaking out, uncontrollably sobbing. Everybody is worried.”

TMZ later reported that Bobbi was released from the hospital later that same day. However, Bobbi’s family is allegedly now concerned that the young girl may take her own life and are considering rehab or therapy as a solution to help Bobbi deal with her mother’s death.

Bobbi isn’t the only one who’s been devastated by Houston’s death. Houston’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown, apparently broke down during a recent New Edition concert in Mississippi. The R&B singer reportedly shouted “

I love you, Whitney!” and blew a kiss to the sky, looking visibly teary.

Brown recently released statement about his heartbreak over Houston’s death and asked thanked fans for their condolences.

“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston. At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi-Kristina,” said Brown. “I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.”
