After appearing on Howard Stern’s radio show, T.I. made a visit to “The View” to chat with the ladies. Sitting in between Barbara Walters and Sherri Shepherd, Tip spoke about staying clean and sober, shielding his kids from his past, the importance of family, and writing his novel Power & Beauty while in prison.
“Nobody is tougher on me than I am on myself,” he said. “I’m not trying to make any excuses. I accept responsibility for everything that I’ve done. And people say, ‘Well, how could he just make a mistake again and again?’ It should be taken into consideration how long prior to me being T.I., how long I had been living the life I was living.”
He also denied rumors that he’s hanging up the mic.
“Nah, there’ll be more music. I’ma do it as long as they want me to.”
After their serious conversation, Tip shot some hoops with Sherri and Elisabeth. “I don’t play ball,” he admitted before being dragged to the court.
