Newark, New Jersey emcee-turned-actress Queen Latifah will be inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame this June. The Flavor Unit CEO will join actor Bruce Willis, domestic guru Martha Stewart and Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Franco Harris, according to NJ.com.
Latifah, now a respected Hollywood actress, built her career as an emcee with the Flavor Unit MC’s, a respected New Jersey Hip Hop collective, including 45 King, Lakim Shabazz, Apache and others.
The New Jersey Hall of Fame is presently located at Asbury Park. However, exhibits reportedly travel.
