Writer and Producer, VIC 8.2 can now add rising lyricist to his list of attributes as the NEWARK WONDER.
Recently, Newark’s own VIC 8.2 music has been described as a blend of Hip Hop and Rock & Roll, leading many to refer to his sound as Hip Rock. These two unique genre are blended together to form a new sound giving  hip-hop a new flare and voice with VIC 8.2 as their golden child.
The Hip Rock emcee debuted the video to his hit underground single, “I’ve Been There Before,” to rave reviews. “I’ve Been There Before,” was produced by the hit making production team The Soul Diggaz. The Soul Diggaz , who are known for their eclectic sound, have worked on records for artists such as Madonna, Beyonce, Missy Elliot, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Dirty Money and Lady Gaga.
