Nipsey Hussle takes it back to 2004 with a pre-haircut Lloyd in the Marc Klasfeld-directed video for “Feelin’ Myself,” the official version of the clip that leaked a few weeks back. Focusing in on Nipsey’s humble beginnings, the vid shows the Cali rapper waking up on the floor of his South Central home where he records at a makeshift studio in the corner of his bedroom.
“The concept is basically the fruits of our labor, the hard work paying off,” Nipsey told Rap-Up TV on set in his old stomping grounds. “It’s about the struggle I had to get into the position I’m at as far as being a valued player in this hip-hop thing.”
