Boosie is cancer free. The rapper has undergone surgery and successfully removed the cancer from his kidney.

Last month, he surprised his fans and his loved ones by revealing that he had been diagnosed with kidney cancer.

“I need all my fans to pray for me Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys prayer is power that’s why I’m letting the world know prayfaboosie,” he said in an Instagram post.

On Tuesday morning (Dec. 8), he underwent surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and it was a success.

“I want to thank each and everyone for all the support and love! Surgery went well..God is good! Next step recovery!” said Boosie. “Cancer has been removed from Boosie kidney.”

A grateful Boosie thanked his fans for their prayers.

“Thanks to all Boosie family and friends and all my real Boosie fans for all the prayers from #badazzmusicsyndicate… I am a #cancersurvivor.”

His friends including 2 Chainz also shared their support for the Baton Rouge rapper.

“You done beat everything else , this is jus another chapter in your book of victories bru , much luv,” he said.
