50 Cent Avoids Jail Time in Domestic Violence Case

50 Cent will not be going to jail after allegedly kicking the mother of his child, Daphne Joy, and destroying her property during an altercation in June.

According to TMZ, the 38-year-old rapper has struck a deal with prosecutors to get the domestic violence charge dropped by agreeing to plead no contest to one count of misdemeanor vandalism.

During the argument, which occurred at Joy’s Toluca Lake condo, 50 allegedly got angry, kicked down the door, and kicked her. He was also accused of causing $7,100 in damage.

He was charged with five criminal counts including one count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism.

50 was sentenced today to three years probation and 30 days of community service. He has also agreed to attend counseling sessions and pay $7,100 in restitution to Joy, a model who he dated for three years.
