Miami raptress Trina denies ever having a problem with Young Money’s Nicki Minaj. Both have been actively promoting Trina’s new album Amazin’ via Twitter which proves that there is no animosity between the two.

“@NickiMinaj thank U so much doll for the love I’m ready to shoot the video!!! Wink* 🙂 xoxox <—lol. mmmuuuaaahhhh!!!” Trina tweeted on May 4.

There have been speculations that a line by Minaj in her 5 Star Chick song was directed at Trina, but she ignores the allegations.

“There is no drama. There is no reason to be any drama. I’ve never done anything to her and she’s never done anything to me. Drama comes from conflict of interest. I saw you in the street. You said something I didn’t like. That’s drama. The rest of that is erroneous information. As far as Nicki Minaj’s verse, I was on the record first. When I heard Nicki’s lyrics, that’s how she feels. Lil Wayne is the CEO of the label that she’s on and I guess that is her way of saying let him solidify to people that she’s a five-star chick. I did my verse being totally me who I am, just being me, and talking slick.”

“I don’t spend too much time worrying about females or just having another female on my mind. That’s just not how I roll. I’m focused on music, making money. And everything outside of that really don’t matter to me. It’s a waste of time,” Trina told Honey Magazine in a recent interview.

Although Trina has shown nothing but love to her fellow female campaigners like Minaj, she has been dissed by others such as Khia and Gloria Velez. Most recently, Velez aimed straight for Nicki with a voice-over of Young Money’s Roger That.

Nicki addresses the negativity in an interview with Vibe, saying:  “There are some that say something positive you should be happy. I’m here even though I’m showing you b*tches how to do it. But I get more love than hate. So you know, it’s expected when people see there’s one person getting shine, it makes them feel unhappy with themselves.”

“The small minded people feel unhappy with themselves. The intelligent girls take the things that they like from me and my journey and apply it to their journey. If I had it my way, that’s what they’d all do. Everyone is not going to like Nicki Minaj. Everyone’s not going to like the way I look or what I do but I think if you’re smart you’d take from me and figure out why everyone is talking about me. That’d be the ‘smart’ thing to do. I don’t think they know how to express that so they express it with anger, jealousy and hatred and that consumes them and I’m still here.”
