Yesterday our buddies at Apple introduced a brand new version of the iPhone! During a presentation at Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, Steve Jobs (the company’s CEO) showed off the latest addition to the iPhone family: the iPhone 4.

The fourth generation iPhone is only 9.3 millimeters thick and includes an additional camera and a gyroscope that may be used to unlock other features. But peep this! The new iPhone 4 can also be used for video-conferencing, shoots in HD quality with a much improved battery performance, and comes along with apps such as iMovie and Facetime. And according to Jobs: “It is the thinnest smartphone on the planet.”

The new iPhone 4 will be available June 24th in Apple’s standard black-and-white cases and is priced at $199 for the 16 GB version and $299 for the 32 GB version with a new 2-year contract.
