It’s been a G.O.O.D. year for Pusha T and 2013 is looking even better. The Virginia MC has announced the title and release date for his second solo album.
During his show at the Best Buy Theater in New York last night, Pusha made it official, revealing My Name Is My Name as the title.
Rap Radar’s Elliott Wilson was among those in attendance and confirmed the news.
“Pusha T album My Name Is My Name. Early 2013,” he tweeted.
The project borrows its title from Marlo “Black” Stanfield, a character on the HBO drama “The Wire,” who used it in his jailhouse declaration.
Prior to his album, Pusha will drop a mixtape Wrath of Caine before the year is out, while his Future-assisted single “Pain” is currently on iTunes.
