She is one of the coolest performers in the world, so it understandable that Beyonce Knowles would celebrate her birthday in a decadent style.

The Grown Woman singer turned 32 on Wednesday, and was surrounded by her loved ones – including husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy aboard a luxury yacht in Stromboli, Italy, which appeared to turn into an impromptu champagne cruise.

As well as spending time with her loved ones, including her adorable daughter Blue Ivy, Beyonce and Jay enjoyed posing with a Nebuchadnezzar size gold bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne.

Looking fantastic in a sparkling red, and striped monokini, the star also had a matching striped arong tied around her waist.

Meanwhile, husband Jay showed off his beach body in a pair of turquoise Orlebar Brown swim shorts as he relaxed on the luxury cruiser.

At one point, Bey took an intimate snap shot of Jay puffing on one of his beloved cigars.

Jay also returned the favour by snapping his wife in various poses on her big day.

After mingling with her friends and family aboard the yacht, the Single Ladies singer then took some much needed time out as she rested on a sun lounger.

Joining them in the fashionable swimwear stakes was daughter Blue Ivy who looked adorable in a leopard print bathing suit.
The stylish family have been on holiday over the last few days and were recently seen enjoying themselves in Ibiza.

They flew into Ibiza immediately after Beyonce’s performance at the 2013 Budweiser Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, and is now enjoying a well-earned rest from her busy schedule.

The singer is understood to be taking a short break on the island before returning to the US as expectancy surrounding her soon to be released fifth studio album builds.

The yet to be titled album was recorded last year in the Hamptons, with tracks produced by the likes of Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and The-Dream, whose previous production credits include Rihanna’s last album, Unapologetic.

The singer fueled further rumors last week when it appeared that she was shooting a new video in Coney Island.

Going back to her longer blonde locks – after shocking fans with a pixie crop last month – Beyonce looked as if she had really got her groove back on the shoot.

Also in attendance was fashion photographer Terry Richardson who took snaps of the star.

However, it was unclear if the video was to promote a new lead single from her upcoming album.

Beyonce has also been joined on her recent trip to Europe by her sister Solange and her eight-year-old son Daniel Julez.

‘[Blue] and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins,’ Solange told New York magazine about the relationship between her son and her sister’s daughter with husband Jay-Z.

‘Blue comes over, I babysit,’ she added. ‘And [Beyonce] takes Julez sometimes for the weekend.’

Despite her incredible bikini body, Beyonce appears to still allow herself whatever she wants to eat.

Last month it was reported that she spent almost $2,000 on flame-grilled chicken after her performance in the UK at V Festival.

Beyonce, who is known for her love of chicken, put in a massive order to the UK restaurant Nandos for her and her entourage, which included 48 whole chickens, 580 spicy wings, 48 portions of chips, 24 tubs of coleslaw, 24 helpings of spicy rice and 12 vegetable burgers.

A manager at the restaurant confirmed to BBC News that a member of Beyonce’s entourage made the order and according to a receipt, which was posted on Twitter, the four-figure bill was paid entirely in cash.

The singer loves to treat herself to succulent chicken from the restaurant chain when she is in the UK, but her latest order tops the almost $1,000 she racked up in Nando’s when her Mrs. Carter Show world tour visited Dublin, Ireland, in May.

And there will certainly be no shortage of fine foods on offer off the their luxury yacht in Italy.

Meanwhile, Bey will soon be back on the road as she continues her Mrs. Carter World Tour.

She’ll next be performing in Brazil, before going on to tour Colombia and Mexico.

As well as visits to Australia in October and November, Bey will be wrapping up the tour in New York City.

The final date on 22nd December will see the singer take to the stage at the Barclays Center.
