Drake put on for his city while hosting “Drake Night” at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Saturday. The Canadian rapper, who was named global ambassador for the Raptors last year, realized a childhood dream while leading his team to a 96-80 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

Fans received OVO T-shirts and Drake’s music was played throughout the evening. Drizzy himself grabbed a courtside seat and announced the starters as his triumphant song “Trophies” played.

During halftime, Future the Prince spun Drake records while Drizzy got on the mic and gave away two pairs of his exclusive OVO Jordans.

While wearing a suit lined with a throwback Vince Carter jersey, he held a pre-game conference, where he proudly spoke about his team.

“Tonight’s not really about me despite the title of the night,” Drake told reporters. “I think it’s just more about the momentum and bringing the city together.”

He reflected on the momentous occasion.

“I can’t say I ever saw myself here, but the fact that I am here is truly one of the greatest things in the world,” he said. “Just to see all these people representing OVO and representing the Toronto Raptors tonight, it’s surreal.”
