Iggy Azalea is joining Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and Kanye West at Island Def Jam. The Aussie rap sensation has inked a deal with the U.S. label, where she will release her debut The New Classic.

She made the official announcement on Twitter.

“Hey world. I signed to island def jam. I am now mercury UK/ island def jam USA awesome!!!!” tweeted the blonde bombshell.

The 22-year-old Wilhelmina Model was previously in talks to sign with Interscope last year, but a deal was never finalized. She is signed to Mercury Records in the U.K.

However, she is still affiliated with T.I.’s Hustle Gang and will appear on the upcoming Hustle Gang compilation.

“No. That doesn’t mean I’m no in hustle gang. Save it. Still in it. Still on the hustle gang album. Friendship doesn’t require contracts,” she said.

Her Island Def Jam family welcomed her. “Congrats Iggy. You have a voice that needs to be heard. We got your back!!!” tweeted Chris Anokute, Senior Vice President, A&R.

Iggy is currently promoting “Work,” the first single off The New Classic, and will release her next single “Bounce” on May 5. A video was recently shot in India.
