The heat was spread around fairly evenly during Saturday night’s remarks at the White House Correspondents ’ dinner.

But, the Donald took an especially thorough shellacking.

Donald Trump (who was present at the event, a guest of the Washington Post) was singled out by Obama and Meyers, who dedicated hearty portions of their routines to teasing the zillionaire-come-reality-television-star about his hair, his accent, and his presidential ambitions. Yowch! Oh Yeah, don’t forget to check this hilarious video of the Donald and President Obama stuffing his face with the birth certificate.

Some of the choice barbs from Obama:

“I know that he’s taken some flak lately, but nobody is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald. And that’s because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter, like: did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?”

“On a recent episode of the “The Celebrity Apprentice” at the steakhouse, the men’s cooking team did not impress the judges from Omaha Steaks. You, Mr. Trump, recognized that the real problem was a lack of leadership. So ultimately, you didn’t blame Lil Jon or Meatloaf, you fired Gary Busey. The are the kinds of decisions that would keep me up at night. Well-handled, sir. Well-handled.”

Some not-so-gentle ribbing by Meyers:

“Donald Trump has been saying he will run for president as a Republican, which is surprising, because I just assumed that he was running as a joke.”

“Gary Busey said recently that Donald Trump would make a great president. Of course, he said the same thing about an old rusty bird cage he found.”

“Donald Trump often talks about running as a Republican, which is surprising,” said the Saturday Night Live actor, entrusted with providing some of the comedy for the evening. “I just assumed he was running as a joke.”
