The “Watch the Throne” duo teamed up to entertain guests at a lavish affair in the Big Apple.

Jay-Z was missing in action from Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music showcase last week in Brooklyn, New York, but he joined forces with ‘Ye a few nights later. The pair joined forces to perform at a teenage girl’s Sweet 16 party this past Saturday at the Carlton Hotel in New York.

Leslie Taylor was the coolest kid on her block. Taylor, daughter of Jay-Z’s business associate Chaka Pilgrim, and her friend Skakora Conley turned 16 with some help from the Roc Nation mogul and Kanye West, who made an appearance at her “Sweet 16” bash at Salon Millesime in New York City over the weekend.

According to the New York Daily News, Ryan Leslie sang “Happy Birthday” to the girls and Diggy Simmons presented the “royal 16 court” at the lavish Black Swan-themed event, organized by the Purple Agency.

Stilt walkers, human mannequins covered in feathers, and ballerinas dressed in black danced to Kanye’s “Runaway.” Hov and Yeezy took a break from recording Watch the Throne to get on the mic and surprise their young fans.
