School’s out and Fetty Wap is saluting the Class of 2016 in the video for “Wake Up.” The Remy Boy reminisces on his high school days by returning to his alma mater, Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey, which inspired the film Lean on Me. Before he was a world famous star, the self-described “nobody, high school dropout” was just a kid with big dreams.

In the partly-animated clip, directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz, he encourages his fans to “celebrate everyday, roll something up, and define your own path.” Young Fetty roams the school halls, sips a “40 Wap” in class, and watches a stripper work the pole. But Fetty’s not the only one thinking of summer. Even his mother and teacher get “Wiz Khalifa high.”

Fetty recently took home Top New Artist at the Billboard Music Awards and received a nomination for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist at the 2016 BET Awards. He is readying his sophomore album for release this fall.

Throw your caps in the air and celebrate with Fetty.
