Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg closed out Coachella with a bang. The hip-hop icons served up plenty of surprise guests (Eminem, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, and a Tupac hologram), smoke, and West Coast anthems as they blazed the main stage on the third day of the festival.

A buff Dre made a subtle entrance in all black, while Snoop paid homage to Bob Marley with his rasta-colored accessories. They kicked off their 70-minute set with “The Next Episode.” “Where’s all my motherfuckin’ weed smokers at?” asked Dre before performing their 2010 track “Kush” and Snoop’s classic “Gin and Juice.”

“Me and my ni**a Snoop, we been together for 20 years,” said Dre before he and Snoop, with blunt in hand, performed their first collaboration “Deep Cover” followed by “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang.”

Photos of Nate Dogg flashed across the screen for “Ain’t No Fun,” as Kurupt and a self-promoting Warren G helped Snoop remember their late friend.

“I need 90,000 motherfuckers jumping around right now,” said Snoop as he delved into a cover of House of Pain’s “Jump Around.”

Wiz Khalifa came out to share a blunt with his fellow weed smoker and perform “Young, Wild & Free.” They walked offstage to finish their smoking sessions, making way for Dre, who introduced Kendrick Lamar for their first performance of the Compton MC’s new single “The Recipe.”

50 Cent stormed the stage for “What Up Gangsta” with Tony Yayo by his side, swaggering into “P.I.M.P.” with Snoop, and closing with “In Da Club.”

Footage of Frank Sinatra introduced “California Love,” as Dre and Snoop turned the field into one giant West Coast party with everyone singing along.

But the most-talked-about guest was Tupac, who was resurrected as a life-like hologram. He performed “Hail Mary” and joined Snoop for “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” leaving some festivalgoers amazed and others creeped out.

Not-so-surprise guest Eminem delivered his verse on “I Need a Doctor” and joined his mentor for “Forget About Dre.” He was about to walk offstage, but Dre persuaded him to stick around for “Till I Collapse.”

The duo capped their historic set with “What’s My Name?” and “Still D.R.E.” “I want to say thank you for the love for all these years,” said Dre as he and Snoop disappeared below the stage.

They will perform again during the second weekend of Coachella on April 22.
