Canadian model and actress Melyssa Ford is often called “Jessica Rabbit” due to her dangerous curves, similarly to the animated character in the film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Her fun size height of 5 foot 4 inches along with her seductive 34D-22-38 measurements keeps the attention of men and slight jealousy of women. She aspired to be a performer at a young age, playing in elementary recitals. As an established actress, she has appeared on the “Soul Food” tv show series and UPN’s “Platinum.” Ford attended York University in Toronto and studied Forensic Psychology. While working in night club, she was discovered by director Little X. He planned to help launch her modeling career. Melyssa was offered to host a show called “The Phat and the Phabulous” and from there her career took off. She then left her home in Canada to move to New York with 25 dollars and all the ambition in the world. Ford has received phenomenal success in King, XXL and Maxim magazines, prominent music videos and films. She was in music videos like Usher’s “Yeah,” Alicia Keys’ “You Don’t Know My Name,” Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin’, “Happy People” by R. Kelly and countless more. Her presence became widely known quickly one publication and director at a time. Black Men’s Magazine selected her to be in the swimsuit edition in 2001. After the shoot, they were so captivated by her beauty and elegance, and she was offered the cover of that issue as well. Following that success, she was offered covers of other magazines as well as a continuous line of calendars and DVDs that still bring in great revenue.

In May of 2012, she was offered to come back to her King Magazine family to do yet another intimate and sultry photo shoot with photographer Scott Herbert. As well as magazine deals, she scored an endorsement as Nelly’s eye candy and model for his AppleBottom brand. She exposes her talents and sex appeal in movies she was featured in such as Three Can Play That Game, Love for Sale, God’s Prayer, Video Girl and her latest film, Think Like A Man, alongside Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union and Michael Ealy. Also, she starred in Chris Rock’s documentary Good Hair, which revealed the evolution of Black women’s hair. Chris Rock interviewed several women including actress Nia Long, Raven Simone, Lauren London and more discussing the thoughts about what defines a woman to have “Good Hair” and where the term originated from. Melyssa spoke about her hair and her natural mixed heritage. Her father is of African and Barbadian descent and her mother is Russian and Norwegian. Of course many of us women typically want the type of textured hair that we don’t have and will sometimes go through extreme circumstances to change it. The message from the movie was to learn to love the hair that naturally grows out your scalp.

Overall the 36 year old brown haired beauty has taken ample care of the body that has earned her millions in her lifetime. She dreamed to become an actress and entertainer although studied forensic psychology. Ford lived out her calling and became a bigger star than she could have hoped for. –Free @InkStains_
