Wale is getting real about the Meek Mill vs. Drake drama. During his visit to “The Breakfast Club” on Wednesday, Meek’s labelmate weighed in on the rappers’ feud. Wale, who has had his own conflict with Meek, was surprised by Meek’s decision to start beef with Drake.

“I can’t tiptoe around this one,” he admitted. “Somebody probably be off the drink right now. It’s not a good look. It’s not a good thing you’re doing.”

He tried calling Meek, but did not get to speak with him. “I ain’t talk to him—I called him several times since that… I don’t know what’s going on.”

He agrees with the public consensus that it wasn’t the smartest move on Meek’s behalf.

“I talk a lot to dudes at Dreamchasers, everybody cool and whatever, but when he did that I was just like, alright, somebody be off the drink. A little testosterone on tour. You know, you’re wit’ your girl. I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s not the right decision.”

He continued,

“I honestly think he brought a pencil to a gun fight. He ain’t even bring a knife—a pencil. A piece of paper. He tried to paper cut him to death. You can’t compete with somebody that got them type of relationships. I’m tellin’ everybody who thinks that Meek lost this off the strength of losing. It doesn’t matter what he made. He could’ve wrote ‘Ether 3.0′ and the opinions of the people would’ve been that their boy from Canada waxed him.”

He also went on to discuss the difference between Drake releasing his diss tracks through Apple, while Meek was premiering them on Funkmaster Flex’s show.

Meanwhile, Wale’s MMG boss Rick Ross is standing behind Meek. “Ain’t nobody get bodied,” he said in a recent interview.

“If you think Meek Mill through, you trippin’.”
